Hada was arrested and sentenced to
15 years in jail by the Chinese
Communist Party (CCP) on December
10, 1995. The date he was supposed
to be released was December 10,
2010, Human Rights Day having
completed the entire 15 year period
term. Throughout the years in
prison, he has never given up on
what he believes. The biggest
"crime" he committed was to search
for a peaceful way out for the
Southern Mongolians. He has never
advocated violence or turning
against the Chinese. What he sought
was for the Southern Mongolians to
become the true owners of their own
lands to enjoy a life like others
do. According to international law
and common sense of humanity, Hada
has not committed any crime, but the
Chinese Government sentenced him to
15 years in jail which he has
completed, yet the CCP refuses to
restore his freedom. Now not only
has the CCP illegally abducted him
after his scheduled release along
with his wife and son. This is a
violation of China's very own laws.
This certainly is not in accordance
with a government and a country
ruled by law, it's an act of
gangster politics.
I hope all conscientious
individuals, all Southern Mongolians
and Mongolians from elsewhere stand
up to oppose this evil deed. This is
happening to Hada today but it could
happen to any one of us tomorrow if
we do not stand up to resist this.
Beyond the threat to freedom, this
has affected our sense of
well-being. One should not say this
is not my business. If everyone does
so, not only will this jeopardize
the basic human rights and
fundamental freedoms of the
Mongolians, Tibetans and Uyghurs but
also of the Chinese people. We argue
Hada was not guilty but the CCP says
he is a criminal. Even if he is
assumed a criminal, his jail term is
over. He should be given his freedom
back. Yet the CCP handles this in an
extremely inhumane mafia style way,
not in a way a society that respects
the rule of law acts. Therefore I
urge your careful attention to this
case.
