Protesting the recent brutal killing of two Mongolian herders, Mr. Zorigt and Mr. Mergen, by Chinese truck drivers and the Chinese authorities' ongoing systematic human rights violations in Southern Mongolia, Southern Mongolian exiles and their supporters staged a worldwide demonstrations on November 6, 2011 at 12:00 PM local time in front of Chinese embassies in Washington DC, New York, Stockholm, Tokyo and Ulaanbaatar.
The demonstrators shouted slogans and held signs of "Justice for Zorigt", "Justice for Mergen", "Justice for Herders", "Human Rights for Southern Mongolia", "Freedom for Southern Mongolia", "Stop the Killings in Southern Mongolia", "Stop Closing Mongolian Schools" and "Stop Destroying Grassland". They demanded the Chinese Government to respect the human rights of Southern Mongolians and stop its exploitation of natural resources and destruction of natural environment.
